About Us

Plano Baptist Church is a blend of the "old" and the "new". We are an old church with a new vision. The church was established in 1795 and has a rich heritage of serving the needs of this community. We moved to our present site in 1896. In 1997 we added a new multi-purpose building which is used for many of the activities offered for all ages.

Our VISION is to reach the families of our area and bring them into the family of God and into our church family were they might be nurtured as children of God.

Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at Plano Baptist Church we desire to do the same. That's why you'll discover here ministries geared to various life stages and needs. That's why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities. Please check out our "events page" for some of these activities. Everyone is invited to participate.

Our Sunday services are:
       Sunday School                    10:00 a. m.
       Morning Worship                  11:00 a. m.
     Evening Service                     5:30 p. m.

       Wednesday Activities:
       Picking and Singing            5:00 p. m.
       Fellowship pot-luck meal      6:00 p. m.
       Bible Study and Prayer         7:00 p. m. (We meet in groups according to age)
